Public Q&A

What maintenance agreement options does Pacific Telephone & Data offer, and what is typically included?

Maintenance Fault Diagnosis and Technical Support · 2026-08-04

Pacific no longer provides the former NECARE system-support contract and currently has only a small number of sites operating under maintenance agreements. Where an agreement is in place, typical inclusions can include regular system backups, up to three remote programming moves or changes each year, and a dedicated spares kit for that site. The support window is agreed to suit the customer, for example business-hours support or an eligible 24/7 arrangement. These agreements cover the physical phone-system hardware; cabling faults sit outside that scope. Exact response times, inclusions and exclusions must be documented for each customer.
